@Jesus loves a Shovelhead That old trope again. There are pharmaceuticals that have helped people live normal lives. That's a given and has been shown to be true. You take one aspect of his life, a failure, no doubt about it, and then you automatically dismiss the things that he's discussing in this video. If you want to dismiss the things that he and Fry are talking about....discuss the things that he's talking about. Don't tear down the person and then claim proof of tearing down the ideas discussed. That's not a very academic or intellectual stance. 2+2 still equals 4, no matter who says it. You can't say that since the messenger is a drunk, therefore it must equal 5. The message is NOT the messenger. Don't equate the two entities.

@lameduck3105 Of course Fry would be intolerant of religious leaders who call for the death of homosexuals. It goes against the principles of human rights. Basically, the right to believe and live as one wishes as long as one isn't depriving others of their right to believe and live as they wish. It's the law of tolerance. You tolerate others until they insist of taking away your right of tolerance.

@Jesus loves a Shovelhead In other words, your problem is with psychology NOT Jordan Peterson. I'm not going to say whether you have a point or not. That's not what I'm talking about OR what this video is about. Also, at this moment, Peterson isn't all that keen about that drug that nearly killed him. His story should be a testament to the dangers of some drugs and one to demonstrate how easy it is to be a victim of things that are supposed to help you. Instead, you don't use it in a positive way. You use it to denigrate. If you were to ask Peterson about what he thinks on that drug NOW, he'd be, and is, outspoken on its negative effects. You could use his life example to influence a better approach to these drugs but instead...you try to silence him. Not the best use of his story. Now....let's get back on topic. Fry and Peterson exchange a lot of ideas that are interesting and worth talking about. None of them have anything to do with psychiatric drugs.....no matter how hard you try.

@Jesus loves a Shovelhead And YOU don't seem to understand that this video isn't about drugs. YOU'RE changing the subject of the video and then using the change to, somehow, denigrate that substance of the video at hand. It's a logical fallacy that YOU can't seem to comprehend. When talking about chickens, you don't insist on referring to leprechauns. One has nothing to do with the other. Your attempts at character assassinations are irrelevant to the topic at hand. Get this simple concept. WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT DRUGS!!! THEY'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT JORDAN PETERSON AND DRUGS. YOU ARE. You're talking leprechauns when the discussion is chickens. Stick to the topic. Also, don't dismiss the topic by using a smear. It's the lowest form of debate. Also, whatever Peterson knew or didn't know, at the time, is irrelevant. He DOES know it now and has been outspoken about his experiences and how horrific it was. Quit living in the past. It's over. Talk about the Peterson of NOW....if that's possible for you. God....you must be a real hoot and inspiration at an AA meeting. You'd be continuously castigating the members for how stupid they are.

@Jesus loves a Shovelhead And now you're doing it again. Another attempt at a smear using a logical fallacy. The fallacy from authority. Since I don't know anything, YOUR assumption, about addictions, etc, I have no business talking about the content of this video. That's now twice that you've tried to use that fallacy and you're either not bright enough to see it or bright enough to argue any other way. You've yet to explain how Jordan's recent problems have ANYTHING to do with what Fry and Peterson are discussing. I have a strong suspicion that I know the reason why. You haven't watched this video. You don't have a clue what this video is about. You're here to smear Peterson....that's it. That's one mighty high calling. LOL. I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible.

@Jesus loves a Shovelhead So what's the point of being here. You haven't watched the video. You have no idea what it's about or care to know. All you're here to do is to bad mouth a man who has made a terrible error in judgement and who has said, MULTIPLE times that this was the WORST time of his life and is eternally grateful for the support of his family, especially his daughter and his critically ill wife, who's suffering from cancer. You've no soul...no heart or empathy. You're ruled by hate and disdain, a person with a deep rot at your core. You don't care that he's recovering, that he's spoke about his ordeal and how dangerous that this drug is....and now knows better than anyone. You want to shut down the man, whose influence could prevent others from going down the same path that he did. What a great strategy. Quit revelling in the pain and suffering of others and quit using it to bolster your own ego. It's a cheap and insidious way to build your own self esteem.

@dherman0001 There's a couple of really weird ones, like the Westboro Baptist church, but they're pariahs in the Christian community. I'd say that Islamist extremist FAR outnumber any other demographic. I'd say that you're probably correct.

@dherman0001 I was just covering the entire gamut of religious groups. They call themselves Christian but I called them Pariahs within the Christian community. That kind of isolates them from Christianity right there.
