I hope that it doesn't happen. Keep to your principles and the best to you.

@Arafath Islam Passionately destructive, violent and hateful. They embody every element of the Satanic psyche. When your passion is to destroy, you lead an army of minions from hell....figuratively speaking. You accomplish nothing but desolation and misery. Not a passion that I would encourage or laud.

@66dragonfly66 I'm imagining. Tens of millions of scabs. Some sent to concentration camps where they starved to death. Others, that were slowly starved, some to the point of cannibalism. Ritually beaten, in rites of public flagellation. Oh....wait. That was in the Soviet Union and Red China. Never mind. I confused labour disputes with Holodomor and the Cultural Revolution. My bad.

@tomjeff1743 I've read a lot of those books. Lately, I've read "In Order to Live" by Yeonmi Park and "The Cowshed Memories" by Ji Xianlin. These chronicle the lives of ordinary people in Marxist China and North Korea. Horrific stuff. I've come to another conclusion about China. They're no longer communist. It's as if they've concluded that the way to success as a socialist, is to adopt National Socialism...otherwise known as Fascism. China, as it stands as a political entity today, is as close as it gets to Nazi Germany, Mussolini's Italy or Franco's Spain. A lot of people, Marxists mainly, get quite upset with this conclusion but they've not shown me anything that has dissuaded me from holding onto that idea.

@NickKautz That's exactly it. There were 2 factions in the crowd. One faction would cheer when Peterson made some good intellectual points. The other faction cheered whenever he mentioned the violent and destructive nature of Marxism, demonstrating their approval of that violence.

@TOUGHEYES I'm hoping that you understand that I was speaking metaphorically and it seems that you do. I'm going to add that this embracing of the Satanic self is generally a conscious choice, a surrender to the devil on the left shoulder. Why one would do that is another puzzle. It may have an obvious answer but since I'm not given to violence and destruction, it's not obvious to me.

When you cheer for violence and destruction, you might be the bad guy.
