@Zurround So you've NEVER known a woman who was vindictive or vengeful. That's an impossibility. Also, it's NOT the conversation that's the problem. It's whether that woman has the vindictiveness to claim that the conversation was something nefarious when it wasn't. A woman doesn't have that threat with other women. A man doesn't have that threat with another man. It almost always happens in a male/female interaction and it's always one way when it does. It doesn't even matter if it's rare. Once accused, a man's life could be destroyed. His wife might leave him. His children might become angry with him. He could lose his job. He might even be prosecuted and all because one woman, ONE woman because that's all it takes, made a claim that wasn't true. Why would a man take that chance?

@Zurround I had a girl who was continuously flirting with me although I showed no reason for her to think that I was interested. In fact, I was dating another girl at the time that I really liked. One day, she saw my girlfriend sitting by the water in a park. She went to my girlfriend and told her that we were secretly seeing each other. It wasn't true and I had already told my girlfriend what this girl was doing. My girlfriend tried to leave but this girl tried to prevent her from leaving, yelling at her and threatening her. Some teenagers got in front of this psycho so my girlfriend could leave. Fortunately, my girlfriend didn't believe her but what if this had happened in a work environment. I could have lost my job. There are crazy women out there just like there are crazy men. Women are a little more subtle about it, while men are more up front and it manifests itself differently but they're both equally damaging.

@Zurround I'm sure that it has. Why wouldn't it? It's just one small step away from what I went through and it isn't as if I'm something special. Not all women or men, for that matter, are as reasonable as my girlfriend was. Some of them are always in crisis mode. I've always stayed away from that type of person.
