  1. They keep voting in socialist politicians. Socialist don't believe in property rights so if this company closes its doors, no big deal. Let those small businesses close down so what's left are the big corporate outlets. It's easier to take over a couple of big corporations than it is to take over tens of thousands of family entities and they know it. People hate the big corporations and if that's all that there is, the people will support the nationalisation of those corporations. It's a progression. It's why they're called progressives.
