@johnkendall9831 The Covid relief package shouldn't have been anymore than 50 pages long. It should outline which Americans need help and how much they should get, how to better protect the vulnerable and the rest of the nonsense shouldn't be there. I don't care who supports what I just outlined, whether it's Trump, Paul, AOC or who it is. This is a COVID RELIEF PACKAGE. Whatever Rand Paul voted for, in the past, is irrelevant. Is this a good package or not? PERIOD. If you think that we need to study Pakistani gender issues, start your own damned foundation. We're facing a serious health and economic crisis. Let's deal with that. Adding riders to a bill like this is no better than blackmail.

Pakistani gender program will constitute someone opening an office in Karachi, hiring a receptionist, a sign on the door that says "Allah be praised" and a one year lease. A few "gender" experts, back in the states, will have meetings in which they'll discuss gender issues and what their letterheads should look like. By that time, they'll run out of money and be back for more and the cycle will start all over again. That sign on the door should read "Pakistani gender trough". That would be an accurate description of what is really going on.

@MD-zy9xk I was assuming that what you added, in your comment, was a given. I assumed that everyone involved would be WAY overpaid for doing nothing except for their "meetings....wink..wink" which they will point to as proof of their dedication to the cause. It's the government trough. All the piggies are invited by special invitation only.
