@sgashner397 When I was six, I had an infection and had to be circumcised. I took one look at it, after I got home from the surgery, gave a little laugh, shrugged my shoulders and watched some cartoons. It's absolutely nothing. The infection hurt worse than the surgery.

I remember how it was for me when I was a teenager. I just felt so out of place. I wanted to just go to a tropical island and live in nature, like I thought we were meant to live. I even cut classes and hitchhiked to a library in order to page through a world atlas to find a likely island to go to. Being a teenager is tough. I'm sure glad no one encouraged those teenage fantasies. I'd probably be dead now of some tropical disease or the victim of a ruthless criminal. This new culture is destroying our children by using their insecurities against them. It's abhorrent beyond belief.

@lescobrandon8045 I have a notion that it had something to do with living in the desert. Sand gets into everything, especially during sand storms. I'll let you figure out the implications, particularly with young boys who aren't as diligent about cleanliness. Hell, it could be why I had infection problems. Also, it might have been a good place for parasites to hide. Circumcision would open things up and make cleaning easier. Just a few ideas on the origins of the surgery that might have evolved into religious ceremonies.
