@kairidon3363 It's a hand that the Democrats dealt them. Charter schools....NOOO. School choice....NO again. Don't give bad marks for poor performance. That's racist. They were the ones that brought in the welfare state in their "war on poverty" which is an abject failure. I haven't heard ONE Democrat run on finding a better way to educate our young. The schools, in the inner cities, are getting worse and worse and the Democrats aren't even suggesting how to improve the lot of those kids. All they do is say things like "It's difficult to overcome the hand most black people are dealt." and sit back in satisfaction because they've shown how empathetic they are. When Trump suggested school choice and allowing funding per child to follow that child to whatever school that their parents want them to attend.....the Democrats wailed and wailed about it. They don't care about those kids. They only care about the optics of saying nice things.

@CammieCakesz He doesn't know. He's just repeating the mantra that he was told to say.

@John.Flower.Productions It made perfect sense to me. Are you a failure because you can never play in the NBA? Of course not. You can do something else. Get into sports medicine or coaching. Be the best trainer in the business. YOU are the metaphorical poodle. You'll never be that metaphorical police dog. Actually, you don't even have to get into sports at all. There are LOTS of options open to you but whatever you do, be the best that you can be. I don't see how that's illogical at all.

@John.Flower.Productions It's a metaphor. A metaphor doesn't have to be an EXACT comparison. People use metaphors to illustrate an idea or concept. Apparently, metaphors are too abstract for you to comprehend. Life is unfair. It always has been and always will be. You can't legislate it away.
