@JOHNNYCFC18 When I was young, it was used as a slur. It meant that he was a little odd and that it likely had something to do with a person's sexuality. It implied that you had to be careful around them. I think that it's "queer" that the gay community embraced that word instead of being offended by it, like they do with almost everything else.

@younggeezer8232 I'm going to assume that you're young because of your YouTube name "younggeezer". When we were young, I'm talking boomers, it was a slur. We'd say "He's a little queer" while doing that wavering motion with our hand, meaning that he's just not right. It was most definitely meant as a slur, in those times.

@AyshaA-ml2rd You don't decide to be gay. It's something that you are. Why that is, no one knows. My brother realised that he was attracted to men when he was 12. He never told anyone, even got married and had kids but his wife knew that something was off in their relationship. He tried and tried to be straight but it just wouldn't work. Finally, after 35 years of marriage, he broke down and told her. In all that time, because he's also very religious, he never stepped out on her and as far as I know he still hasn't had one. Yet, he knows that he's attracted to men and not women.

@dcollins4679 I care about truth....that's why I care. I know one thing. If KEW has this conference and, for some reason they conclude that mushrooms and plants are binary, the queer activists would be extremely upset. Suddenly, THEY would care. Why, though? They're forcing us to use all kinds of pronouns and want to do so on pain of legal reprisals. Why do they care what pronouns I choose to use? Why do YOU care?

@ethanahmed08 The guys a bot, either metaphorically or in reality. A non-thinking NPC repeating the same thing over and over again. No one who values science would behave in this manner. It's authoritarian sloganeering.

@sg-zd8eb Because it's the radical left gays that are pushing the farcical agenda. What's the point in picking a normal gay person who has REAL liberal views. They don't care about pronouns and they don't like making a big deal about their gayness.

@JOHNNYCFC18 It was the same but this what the left does. They manipulate words so language is never clear. That's how they manipulate reality. Orwell tried to demonstrate this in his seminal works "Animal Farm" and "1984". Language manipulation is a major tool of authoritarians.
