  1.  Ryan Lee  Most of us like to eat. Right now, Tesla, even though their car market is less than 1% of the world market, is having problems getting the raw materials for batteries. What are we going to do when everything goes to electric? We will transition but it has to be done through the market economy, where the consumer and the producer can match need to availability. If we try to force it, it will be a disaster, both economically and environmentally.

  2.  Ryan Lee  Well, we have a president who's brokered four, like in FOUR (4) peace deals in the Middle East and the Balkans and has made inroads in dealing with North Korea. If you don't like the bombing, you may have to think about voting for this guy.

  3.  Ryan Lee  You can hire all you want but if you have to subsidize the new tech, you're paying your salary with your own salary through your taxes. That's not sustainable economically. I never ONCE said that there shouldn't be a transition. What I said was that it must be done through market pressure and a solid supply chain. If Tesla is having problems getting raw materials for batteries, what's going to happen when the entire country needs those raw materials. Once again, we have a president that hasn't started any new wars and has, in fact, negotiated peace deals in the Middle East. Out of one side of your mouth you like and then from the other side you're complaining. I'm starting to think that nothing would satisfy except your own Utopian vision of the future. Good luck with that perfectionist mirage.

  9. How about telling us where in Canada those Chinese bases are. I'm in Canada and I've never heard of these bases. I live in about 3 miles from our countries biggest military base and I've friends and a son-in-law in the military. I'm a bartender and I've not even heard rumours. You hear them all at my job.
