And if EVERY cop quits, Tim, thousands will DIE. Murdered by criminals who will take what they want. And if you think that living in the country is going to save you, you're fooling yourself. They won't stop. All you're doing is postponing the inevitable. Working at a fast food joint isn't the same as being a police officer. Also, it isn't about needing a job. It's about honouring your oath to protect the public and the law. Once that oath is taken, needing a job is not the priority. That oath becomes number one. I do agree with one thing. The Norfolk police should back that officer. An officer of integrity of conscience should tell his superior that he would also donate to the Rittenhouse fund and they don't like it, too bad. If the department decides to fire him, then it's their doing and the oath is null and void.
