I agree. Let them talk. Look at the second debate. Trump let Biden talk and he hurt himself with his inconsistency. I turned on the Pool interview with Vaush partway through and didn't know who he was. It wasn't long before I was asking myself "Who is this nut?". Bad ideas hate sunlight.

Apparently, it doesn't matter if the statement is true or not. It all depends on who says it. Truth is perception. It changes as your vantage point changes. Besides, Trump has a lab on Air Force One and he's developing the vaccine, on the plane, between campaign stops. Considering all the rallies he's been doing, he's spending a lot of time in the lab.
