I was under the impression that this reporter was an American. Maybe I'm naive. I don't assume that an heritage doesn't negate your inclusion into the designation of "American". I learned that 40 years ago, in school, when we were taught that it was wrong to hold Americans, of Japanese heritage, into internment camps in WW2. I was taught that they were Americans and that this internment was a deplorable thing to do to Americans. Apparently, Stelter believes that this was all wrong. Maybe I should go to the new re-education camps to understand the new reality. I suppose she could have been Chinese and not American at all but then the question, that Trump asked, even makes more sense and isn't racist at all.
