@Sirxeko My daughter, at 4 years old, needed stitches on her heel. She fought and full grown adults couldn't hold her down. They had to call for a male nurse, who weighed about 220 pounds to sit on her foot so they could freeze the heel so they could eventually put in 7 stitches. Some people watch too much TV.

@vtmerritt9987 That would be a great idea. Take the chance that the person under arrest won't lose his mind and cause the driver to crash into an oncoming car, killing all the occupants. To be fair to the arrested person.

@christopherdieudonne It's a lifestyle. Your parents maintained a lifestyle of treating people with respect as the default. Therefore the "talk" isn't necessary. It's part of the home culture to behave at the highest civilised standards at all times. When you grow up this way, you know, through osmosis, how to behave when dealing with a Police officer. People, who didn't have the benefit of having decent and civilised parents, like you apparently did, can't understand that.
