  1. @Diane Schubach Maybe they should do something about the people that are using the guns to kill people. Out in the countryside, where I live, a lot of us have guns. We use them for hunting and protecting livestock and gardens. My brother had a black bear in his beehives and then went right into his garage and tried to break into his freezer that was in a foyer between the garage and the house. He opened the door of his kitchen that opened into the foyer and shot the bear. Funny thing was.....the gun didn't protect him, his family or the food in his freezer from the bear. MY BROTHER DID. He made a special trip to the cabinet where the gun was kept, took it out, loaded it and then opened the foyer door and then fired the gun. If no one had been home, the gun would have stayed in the cabinet and not done a thing. You see, you need a mechanism that would make the gun operable. It's called a trigger finger, which is attached to a human being, who makes a decision on whether they should use the gun or not and for what purpose. Without that trigger finger, the gun is as useless, for protection, as a Nerf sword. Do something about the bad guys with trigger fingers....the ones that make the decisions.
