  1.  Yaruu Salamander  If you limit your sexual partners, you limit your odds of getting STDs. That's why prostitutes get them more than the average person. That's a fact. If you don't have sex till marriage, then you've almost zeroed your chances of STDs until marriage or sex. If you're committed to your marriage and partner, it doesn't mean your partner won't but at least you've reduced your odds of getting STDs from your end. If you're partner is as committed to a monogamous relationship as you are, you've almost reduced your odds to zero, or as close as you can get, without going full abstinence. These are facts no matter what the attitudes of your country towards sex are. You're not referencing about the truth of what she said or what I just said. You've added to the question, creating a strawman and then setting that on fire. Does abstinence limit the chances of STDs, yes or no? Just like Tim says. If you don't want to become a heroin addict....DON'T USE HEROIN!!!!! It's plain common sense.
