@venicebeachsportsnetwork6677 We're not talking about Trump. Don't be so single minded. We're talking about a fair trial. If a juror has a preconceived bias against the defendant, would he give a fair verdict? If another juror says that she was worried about violence and personal retribution, would that affect her ability to fairly judge the defendant? If a sitting member of Congress flies thousands of miles any utters back handed threats if the proper verdict isn't handed down, would that cause fear within the jury and cause them to give a verdict that would cost THEM the least harm? This is why a person why might question whether this was fair or not. The election has NOTHING to do with it.

@TylerShacklefordDurden That's exactly why you'd make a terrible juror. You've already given a verdict before the evidence has been displayed. The trial is theatre because you think you already know it all. A juror has to go in neutral and be willing to honestly and in good faith, examine all the evidence. That's why Lady Justice is wearing a blindfold. If you were called to this jury, you would be obligated to tell them that you believe that the defendant is guilty....unless you're totally bereft of integrity.
