@hendrikmaass Could it be any worse than Twitter? Dump Twitter, try Parler and if they start to do the same things that Twitter do, move on again.

@Hirome_Satou Well then....move on. However, you don't know how bad they will be until you try it. I don't do twitter because it's so toxic. If Parler is the same or worse, I won't consider it, either. All you've shown me is an assessment of its policies. That doesn't really tell me if they'll censor conservative speech or not or how strict they will be or how impartial. That's the biggest problem with Twitter. They have definite biases and their actions, not their policies, are what most object to. We have to see if Parler will let their biases, if any, govern their actions.

@Hirome_Satou Yes, I watched it and yes, the video does claim that Parler bans "Liberal" speech. "Claim" being the operative word. What I didn't see was overt bias on their censorship. Was that woman censured because she posted that she wanted to fight a police dog or would she have been censured for wanting to fight any dog and her political stance on the matter is irrelevant. However, if the censoring of "Liberal" speech is taking place, I'd disagree with it but, as it stands, bias is allowed on social media. If Conservative voices are being banned on Twitter, then they can go to Parler where they won't be banned and "Liberal" are kicked off. That doesn't make them WORSE than Twitter. It only makes them no different than Twitter but with a different perspective. The only reason one would say it's worse is that they have their own bias. If censorship is wrong on Twitter and unfairly adjudicated, then it can be no worse if the same thing is done on Parler from a different perspective.

@Hirome_Satou Quite the in depth analysis. Are you a professional? Like with a couch and everything? Explain to me how banning "Liberals" is worse than banning "Conservatives". I can see how it's worse for a "Liberal" on a conservative platform but in the overall scheme of things, they're both reprehensible. However, if you're a Conservative and you want to post, free of the encumbrances placed on Conservatives on Twitter, Parler is an option. If you're a "Liberal" and they ban you for your politics, head to Twitter. They like left wing comments. All I've read from you and the video you're posted is that one is as bad as the other. You haven't mounted any argument that would counter my point except to say that I'm ridiculous. All I have to say is.... "I know you are but what am I?" I can play grade 4 bickering too.
