@chaseme9860 But discrimination is illegal. The Civil Rights Act says so. Back in the sixties, we were all so proud of that legislation. Now, it's an annoying talking point for far right agitators. California Democrats even tried to get rid of their State Civil Rights legislation but fortunately they failed. I'm sure they'll try it again under another guise.

@liquidrockaquatics3900 You think that she should move so she can be treated fairly? You don't think much of California, do you. California is in the United States and is subject to our nation's laws and especially the Constitution. Maybe California should be forced to change to ensure that it's citizens are treated without discrimination. They're breaking the law.

@adam-gj3co That is true. Like so many laws, they're easily broken if you have no ethics. People do get caught at it, though. Harvard just got beat in the Supreme Court for discriminating against Asians. Apparently, Asians are white adjacent so they thought that it must be okay.
