  1. We now have political dissidents in Canada. When I was young, that was a major criticism of the communist countries like China, the Soviet Union and Cuba. Citizens of those nations were imprisoned for standing up against their governments. We all watched in admiration at the bravery of the Chinese individual who stood up against the tanks in Tiananmen Square and decried the brutality of the Chinese government. Now we have our own Tiananmen Square. I've never been so disgusted with my country and those Canadians who are cheering our government on. "First they came for the truckers but I did not speak out for I was not a trucker" A line written by a German dissident against Hitler, rewritten to reflect what will become a part of our Canadian heritage. We have to stop it.
