People, who come up to you, get into your face, telling you to quit doing something, when all you're doing is your job, you'd have every reason to be afraid of what he's going to do next. Crime is a huge problem in the US and delivery drivers are quite often targeted by thieves. How are you to know if these guys weren't going to mug you and punch you in the face or worse? If you're going to act the idiot, intimidating ordinary people, be prepared for the consequences. Someone will panic, maybe because of past experience, and defends himself. The poor guy was just doing his job.
