@jackspenser22 What? It's her daughter that's rejecting her mother over politics. Only the daughter's feeling count but the mother's feelings mean nothing. THAT'S what cults do. The mother wants her to come for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's the daughter that's acting with anger and hate. It's her daughter that saying that she cannot be around her family over ideology, NOT the other way around. The mother isn't isolating her daughter. It's the daughter who's actively distancing herself from her parents. That is cult like behaviour. Isolate yourself from all those who don't see the world as you do. It's why Jimmy Jones took his group into the jungles of Guyana. No outside influences. They're ALL evil. The daughter is doing the same thing except not quite to the extreme that Jones did. Anyone, who might influence her beliefs, must be avoided. They're too evil.

@alext2046 NO.....she said that she was honest with her daughter, telling her the truth about her daughter's decision. It was her daughter who told her that she lacked the love to even see her own mother and father, that her politics took precedence over family. The daughter was the one who rejected her mother and her mother isn't allowed to react in an honest manner? She even told her that she'd miss her but that means NOTHING to the daughter. The daughter thinks it's all about her and if she doesn't get her way, her parents will be punished. What a spoiled and narcissistic human being.
