  1. A person can believe anything they want. It's when they tell me that I must believe it too, THAT'S when I object. Freedom of belief is an essential element of the American way. Imposing that belief is an enemy of the American way.

  2.  Kyle S.  Germany was the enemy but so was the Soviet Union. It is possible to have 2 bad guys at the same time. If you think a nation that would sanction the use of death camps as a moral imperative isn't the enemy, then you likely support Robespierre and the use of the guillotine to silence all dissension. Nazi Germany was the immediate enemy. They were allies of a nation that bombed Pearl Harbour. They had to be defeated, especially when you realise how close they were to developing nuclear weapons. A lunatic like Hitler with that kind of power would have been devastating to the world.
