@jaysonflask1663 They're telling me that anyone that uses snide remarks and nothing else really doesn't have a lot to say.

Chief Scalpalot Are you implying that DeSantis isn't speaking common sense? It's a cute saying but does it apply here?

@marcillioficino4663 I'm not misinterpreting anything. I'm asking him what he means by that because I'm not sure what he means or to be more specific....I don't know how to interpret his comment. So...I asked.

@JohnjOcampo Maybe. Maybe not. You: Oh look, common sense. Me: I don't know why you call it common sense? Can you not see how you might think that I was calling you out on it? I was just asking him to clarify the statement. Nothing weird or sinister. I see possible 2 ways to interpret his statement. It would be nice to know, for sure and from the horse's mouth, what he meant.

@knine8154 I get the idea that it isn't very common anymore. I get it quite clearly. However, that's NOT what I'm asking. The original comment was that SeSantis was using common sense. His response was that he didn't know why it was called common sense since common sense isn't that common anymore. So I asked the guy a question, one that only he can answer. What was his intent by that statement? Did he mean that DeSantis may not be using common sense as it's not that common anymore or was he making a generic statement? I don't know. All he has to do is clarify it for me. I'm not sure of his intent but so far I've not heard a word from him.

@Mr.Ekshin I'll try to explain it again. The original statement said that DeSantis was using common sense. I agree with that statement. The next person uses a quote which includes "I don't know why they call it common sense." Is that a subtle way of saying that he doesn't see it that way. That it's unlikely because "it ain't that common". I just want to be sure of his intent. That's all. A lot of people are talking for him but he doesn't seem to have a lot to say for himself....at least so far.

@Mr.Ekshin I have no common sense because I am suspicious of his intentions? I'd say that to not be suspicious is a little naive. Notice that he still hasn't responded yet. He may well be chuckling at you because he actually meant that DeSantis has no common sense and you're inadvertently defending him. All he has to do is clear it up. How easy is that? I'd thank him and then we'll know for sure.

@Mr.Ekshin "Jack is one of those poor souls born without common sense." "Common sense is actually not that common. I mean... you don't seem to have any." It seems straight forward....if you speak English. I UNDERSTAND THE QUOTE!!!! I have no problem with the quote and even agree with it. That's NOT what I'm talking about. GET IT. I'm NOT talking about the quote. Maybe, because English isn't your first language, I'll try to explain something that's common in our language. Puns and word games are very popular ways of making fun of others and even insulting them through trickery with people that speak English. Knowing this and having spoken English for decades, I asked him to clarify if he was using a word game to insult DeSantis or whether he was just making a statement. "I don't know why they call it common sense" Is he asking, in a roundabout way, why the original person thought DeSantis was using common sense? Is it his sneaky way of saying that DeSantis might be lacking in this quality? Once again, he hasn't answered my question, which is basically this.... "Does he think that Ron DeSantis has common sense or not?" I have no idea why you think this is so difficult to understand UNLESS you're not totally fluent in English.
