@DaTooch_e I don't think that Abbott would rather break the law. He'd rather that the Federal government uphold the law that requires them to protect the border. The Feds are refusing to do that so Abbot is sending the guard to do it for them. There are even Democrat mayors and governors who are now calling out the Feds for how they're handling the crisis at the border. This may well cause the defeat of the Democrat party in the next election. What is a responsible governor to do? Abbott has millions cross the border into his state and it's costing hundreds of millions to deal with the needs of these illegals. Something has to give and Abbott is trying to stop the bleeding. The Feds are betraying the entire nation in how they're handling this issue. Good on Abbott for trying to do something about it.
