@bigperm3853 They've been taught the ideology all through school. It wasn't called CRT, at the time, but it was in line with radical leftist thinking. When those students were finally confronted with the idea of CRT, they were already well versed in the mindset and found that it aligned with what they learned in school. The ideas of CRT had already been planted in their minds.

@bigperm3853 WRONG. Those who are advocating the ideas of CRT are using it to cause anger and resentment from one side and defensive anger and resentment from the other. If you'd take the time to learn about the history of CRT and the radical socialist movement, you'd know that these Marxist influenced activists have replaced class oppression with race oppression. Same type of created hostility, aiming for the same goals. Tear down the system and replace it with a Socialist Utopia.

@bigperm3853 The book "Not my Idea" is directed at 7 and 8 year olds and is in school libraries and even read to kids in class. In it, a 7 year old little girl calls her mother a liar, which could lead to discussions on how parents can't always be trusted, insinuating that the teacher is trustworthy. The book ends, showing a contract, that states that white people have a signed a contract with the devil for land, power and wealth. The contract is being held up by someone with a forked tail and cloven hoofs. This is the atmosphere in which history is taught. It's not about facts. It's about how one side is in a perpetual struggle with the other side. I'd say that it's YOU that are confusing historical facts with CRT. CRT is not about historical facts. It's about seeing history through the lens of racial strife that can never end. The facts are only valid if they support the CRT ideological narrative. It's the difference between saying that there were great floods after the ice age glaciers melted and that there were great floods because God sent them. Both recount actual history but one tells it through a religious lens. That's EXACTLY what CRT does. It's call Critical Race Theory for a reason. It teaches history through a racial lens and it's never about reconciling our differences. It's about using our differences to create resentment.
