@douglemay7989 Charm.....that should make for a good governor. I know the best people that I work with ALL have charm. Not much food for anything else but they can charm a toad out it's warts. That's SO important. All I know is that the population is Florida is going up. That doesn't happen when a state is run in a proper manner. They're doing a lot better than California, New York, Oregon, New Jersey.....all of which are losing people. A lot of people are sick of the high prices, taxes, crime, homelessness and the over regulation in those states, especially California. People leave places that they don't like and move to places that they do. That's being demonstrated by the huge influx of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border. They're leaving their homes in search of a better life and that's no different than people leaving the states, that I mentioned, and going to states who offer a better future. So, who cares if DeSantis isn't Mr. Personality. It's the job that he's doing that counts.

@chasethehistorian2003 Then why are so many people moving to Florida and leaving states like California and New York? Is it because life is SO great in those states and so terrible in Florida?

@chasethehistorian2003 He didn't win the primary because Trump already has a presidential record that a lot of people liked, so they picked Trump. Just because I think that Wayne Gretzky is the best hockey player of all time, that doesn't mean that all other hockey players are terrible. That's the same with presidential primaries. Biden won the primary in 2020 and he definitely wasn't a very good candidate.

@douglemay7989 Unelectable???? Is that why he went from a narrow 0.4% victory, in 2018, to winning by a 19.4% margin in 2022. He's THAT unelectable?? The Florida Democrats couldn't even touch him in 2022. That Charlie Crist must have one heck of a lot of charm. LOL. Look at the president that we have now. He didn't campaign and when he did come out, he lose his train of thought, can't even read the teleprompter, gets lost on stage, keeps falling down, gets his facts all confused....that's REAL charm there. If Biden can get elected, anyone can.
