  1.  @juan1586  No.....it's not capitalism. Capitalism wouldn't allow a system where only the corporations succeed and the small entrepreneur is doomed to failure. The corporate body is ecstatic over the Covid restrictions which have destroyed the small capitalist businessman. The Corporatists have merged with the government to mandate that these small businesses either stay closed or operate under impossible conditions to survive. Capitalism is to ensure a free and open market. Mandated Covid restrictions is NOT operating under a free and open economic system. It's almost a return to feudalism, where the elites control the systems of productions. The Lords own the land and the serfs work under the aristocratic elites and the serf has NO chance of ever working his own piece of land. We're now heading towards the system where the elites own the means of production, agricultural and manufacturing, and the ordinary person has no chance of ever working his own business. Covid is just the start of it. Wait till the climate mandates start to be imposed. It will be the government and corporate elites that run it all and the rules will be so tight that it will be almost impossible for the average person to be the lord of his own enterprise. Capitalism is the freedom for all to take part. Corporatism takes away from that freedom and places it in their own hands.

  2. We're now vilifying the life of gratitude and replacing it with a life of grievance. It's why the left hates Christianity. It's all about giving thanks for what God has given us, even if it's only our lives. To forestall being call a religious fanatic, I'm not religious....AT ALL.
