@josiekaposie5783 The reason why there's a conflict is because Palestinian leaders refuse to accept a 2 state solution. Every time it was offered, the Palestinians turned it down, including in 1947, right before Israeli independence. It could have been a Palestinian independence Day as well but they want it all or nothing so the only independent region was the Gaza strip and the Israelis just let them have it. Apparently, the Palestinians don't want it.
