  1. They're not being stupid. They have an ideology and they've been quite competent is proselytizing that ideology. What was fringe a mere 15 years ago has become mainstream. It's everywhere and has affected politics, economics, education, the military and the law. Stupid people aren't that successful. What they are is ruthless about gaining power and they'll use ANYONE, even your children, to get it. Never, EVER, underestimate your enemy.
