@karatedog You're "positive" that the generators are cleaner than on moving vehicles. Why is that? And why aren't they putting those clean filters on moving filters, anyway? Also, if diesel tractors and trucks have greater power and are more efficient than their electric counterparts, wouldn't that eliminate the environmental advantage of those diesel generators? While the electric truck or tractor is out of commission for hours every day recharging their batteries, the diesel counterpart is still out there working. No matter how you add it up, food prices will go up and the poor are the ones who will suffer the most. Sri Lanka went green a couple of years ago and crop yields went down by over 35% and inflation went from 5% per year to 135% the following year. The poor were the ones that went hungry. The rich never suffer or have to deal with the results of their policies. When farmers are no longer able to keep the groceries on our store shelves, the government can promise the poor all the financial help they want and it won't help a single person. You can't eat dollar bills and you can't buy groceries that don't exist.
