She seemed genuine, too. She may not even agree with what he's saying but she appeared interested and allowed us to see Mad Max as a person. Most interviewers are just part of the opposition debating team. You don't learn a lot about people that way.

James Biggar No one should threaten the life of another over a tweet, but this woman is not a novice at social media. She knew full well that this type of comment would generate a reaction. Of course, she had no idea what the extent of the reaction would be, but she knew that reaction would not be positive. This was not a mistake. This is clearly what she believes and she's using this tragedy to elicit the responses expected to achieve notoriety and to demonstrate just how nasty the white male Canadian really is. I'm of the mind that this response is, for her and others of this mindset, a validation of her original tweet. To her, the response to her shows that the Canadian outpouring to this tragedy is motivated by Canadian racism and white male privilege. No one is perfect. That's undoubtedly true but this was not a mistake. It's a calculated move on her part and that makes it intentional. 2 plus 2 equals 5 is a mistake. However, this is a her honest conception of why so many were so strongly affected by this accident. Only the most insensitive, boorish person would basically go into what has become a national funeral parlour and insult the mourners that are showing their respects. It's a shameful display.

@tiko722 I'm Canadian and I hardly ever watch CBC news. They have a way of annoying me.

If you're not sick, are you actually sick if you test positive? Is the sickness in the loss of health or in the testing?

@Peter Landriault My brother went to Germany and tested positive, while there, even though he felt no symptoms. He was forced to overstay his visit for 12 days before he was allowed to come home.

Why should I be concerned by those trying to steal Covid research? I'm concerned when anything is being stolen. It's against the law and it's morally wrong. What a dumb question.

She's done nothing wrong but they feel that there is a need for better training for teacher's assistants to correct what they're not doing wrong. What logic.

@daemenoth No....they've been elected to be a part of the government. If they don't have the requisite information, how can they hold the ruling government accountable. All they're seeing is black ink. As an elected official, you can't say much about that redacted ink except complain about its existence. One court appointee isn't much of safeguard, especially if that appointee has been corrupted. I could understand the redaction of names or identifying marks but how could you know if only one, supposedly incorruptible official, is allowed to see it. At least allow one person, from each party, that has a house member, appointed by the party, to have access to those complete documents.

Since so many people have been laid off and not working, the tax revenue is down. They'll make it up by issuing huge fines to "law breakers" visiting friends or going for an unjustifiable walk.

@aaa-sz9ul I forgot. I'm not supposed to think. Don't tell the government.....PLEASE.

Come on CBC. We're not the US and quit making things up like some CNN fear monger to get ratings and trying to scare us into imagined scenarios of peril. It's shock journalism.

Damn, the stereo to my speakers are backward. He's sitting on the left side of my TV screen but his voice is coming out of the right speaker. A little weird.
