  1. Good question. My sister lived in the US for years, illegally, before she was finally caught and shipped back to Canada. She's a red head and as white as can be. Skin colour was not the issue at all. She didn't go through the proper channels that we ALL have to go through. It's really strange how you and I can know that but the media types don't seem to get it. Anyway, don't go to the US. You're a lot better off here in Canada.

  2. So....for thirty years, Jorge didn't break the law.....except for that illegal immigrant thing. He didn't break the law. So what? That's what you're supposed to do. You don't get brownie points for doing what is required of you. You do it because it is the right thing to do and is how we all create a civilised society. When he filled out the forms, incorrectly, he should have gotten another lawyer, did what was asked of him, and he could have been an American citizen, right now. Instead, he ignored procedure (would that be breaking the law?) and basically procrastinated, until the law and fate finally caught up with him. Suddenly, it's Trump's fault that he didn't follow procedure. Maybe he should take a good look at himself. Had he done the right thing when he reached adulthood, none of this would be happening. He'd be happily blowing leaves and plowing snow in Michigan right now. Sorry, Jorge. All you have to do is follow procedure. There are 45 million people in the US that were born in other countries, living legally in the US, right now. If 45 million people can follow those procedures, so can you. You created your own problems.

  3. light473 It's funny how Canada rates higher than the US as a country to live in, although they're quite close. I prefer the health care here and I think Americans are next to insane when it comes to the gun culture and how it's being perverted in the big cities. I have nothing against hunting but hand gun open carry is just plain dumb and the death toll in the US proves it.
