@doubletripplep What else is a person to do? I live 1000 miles away from Nashville. There's NOTHING that I can do but show my support but let them know that I'm behind them. I'm not religious but I do hope the best for the guy. According to you, I'm NOT to do that. I think that this is a disgusting time to express your personal bias against a religious belief system. People express their best for this officer in the best way they can and YOU use it to make a self serving snarky, ideological, political statement. Also, those of us who wish the best for the victims and the officers involved weren't making political statements. We're feeling bad for the victims.....that's IT. Do NOT assume our positions on gun control or politics. We express sorrow. YOU express disdain. That sure does reflects your kind heart. That's sarcasm. BE respectful. There's a time for condolences and a time for politics. Be intelligent enough to know when those times are.

@squidmissile750 My best friend lost his sister to a guy speeding. Too bad that there wasn't a police officer there BEFORE that jerk killed that poor woman. Alas, they can't be everywhere, at once. A co-worker watched a drunk go the wrong way on a major highway and hit a car head on, killing both passengers. Another time when a police officer could have made a difference but again......they CANNOT be everywhere. You see, being on patrol can save lives. Besides, people get their panties all balled up when there's too strong a police presence in schools. I'm not sure why but they do.

@squidmissile750 Actually, the drunk driving incident happened at around 9 in the morning. The drunk driver was heading home after a long night of drinking. Classes start at 8:30 in our town. My co-worker got off work at 7 that morning, went for breakfast and was heading home. He managed to dodge the drunk, who was coming right at him and watched the accident in his rear view mirror. As if no one ever speeds, drives recklessly or drunk during school hours. Give your head a shake.
