  1. At the end of the show Anastasiia mentions how the term "Donbas" - from DONetsk coal BASin - is problematic, this is 100% spot on. That term was invented by the late ruzzian empire and perpetuated by the Soviets to wipe out Ukrainian identity and replace it with a russian and Belarusian industrial identity. Well known Ukrainian philosopher Volodymyr Yermolenko is advocating for this term "Donbas" to be ditched. For example the ancient name for the area I settled in a decade a go when I moved to Ukraine is called "Pryazovia", not "Donbas".
