A very important point at the 23:00 min mark, Mr Williams talked abut Apple CEO Tim Cook's "engagement" with China to justify being there and it was never successful in changing Xi's or the CCP's attitude. Well, what did Angela Merkel's "engagement" (i.e. showing weakness via appeasement) with Tsar Putin get us ? We all now how that panned out. Massive displacement of millions, lots of deceased civilians and fallen Heroes of Ukraine, total war. Merkel signed the Nord Stream II contracts not even 3 months after Putin stole Crimea. She must go down as the most prolific useful idiot of all times.
