Holy mother of god, you've excelled yourself now old chap! Lt Gen. Hodges correctly predicted months ago that we'd start to see wins on the battle field and turn it around here in Ukraine. Great man, great host, great conversation! I can't afford to support you, lost a home in Donbas and am ITD with my wife in west Ukraine. But I am recommending your chan to everyone I know who speaks english! 😀

@SiliconCurtain Heroyam Slava, indeed he is John (I feel bad calling you old chap, you don't actually look that old). I've lived here for almost a decade (Ukrainian wife) but I have had nothing to do with the army here, I am just an IT guy. The good Lt . General on the other hand he knew something I did not, he's been part of the mix training them up since the Canadians began Operation UNIFIER in 2014 - getting us away from those backwards Soviet methods and tactics, so he knows how good the army is here and how rough they are and how much qualitatively better they, hence I think his gut feelings on future victories panned out! TBH my wife was very optimistic like Ben was at the outset, I was more pessimistic and thought it would go to partisan tactics like in my beloved Jugoslavia ala "Tito" in WW2 1940's style! I was wrong and my wife (and most Ukrainians and Ben were correct!).

@SiliconCurtain The good Lt Gen has a full schedule, the other day he said he was on his 13th interview for the day, pass on the thanks of listeners who much appreciate his great analysis, proven by his vindication of predicting Ukrainian victories months ago! @77thTrombone The host spent some time in the post-Soivet Russia I do believe and he speaks fluent Russian too, so that might be why he is on point!

@Longtack55 haha, yes well I am not that young, I remember on good ol' British TV shows as a kid, maybe a war movie and they pulled a good move or did something great one of their pals would say "good show ol' chap!!"! 😀

@Jeroen_Maes *precision guided ammunition......they seem to only have dumb bombs left...also, with the "dumb" artillery rounds, he was specifically talking about the 'rate of expenditure', which has fallen off sharply...'cos A: we've ! blown up & captured lots of their ammo dumps & B: they're "running low".....sorry, he's vindicated! 🙃

@dickderuiter5892 He gets it right most of the time, his wide sweeping predictions that he talked about months ago, have eventuated (iparaphrasing "by the end of september/october the Ukrainians will start to reverse the Russian gains on the battlefield & see some victories) - these battlefield specifics are more tricky to predict. yes, but they were supposedly well established in Kharkivska Oblast and they ran like dogs and left us a bunch of T-80's, 72's + ammunition and artillery! He is definitely on point more than disgraced & convicted quasi-pedo Scott Ritter, who is pretty mich now a Kremlin mouthpiece of the Ruzzian MoD, he has said some things that are barking mad nonsense (like the failed Kyiv operation was a "feint" to draw Ukraine army away from the real objectives, turns out he forgot that on ria-novosti they published an article too soon stating that Moscow had won and pulled it down! haha also what kind of feint involves losing thousands of men and equipment, Ruzzia lost half it tucks in that supposed "feint", the reason is it was a real attempt to take Kyiv, a real feint involves going in and out without losing men and equipemnt.
