If you search for "Cheburashka" in English, you'll get tons of hits of this kinda ok Soviet children's show. Cheburashka is the cute character with the big ears. It'll give you an idea of how low the russians go with military nomenclature. They are all in Russian so you'll have to use auto-subs, there's maybe a few with proper English subs. When I first moved to Ukraine my wife told me about this show and I watched pretty much well the entire series!

@franksims6452 I don't think it had a propaganda message, there was only like a few episodes, and it was a deacdae ago when I watched them. Cheburashka was maybe an outcast (in the 1st ep, he ended up in a store in crate shipped from far away, no one knew what he was) . there was only one of him. He was always very happy even in bad situatiions. His friend was the crocodile called "Hena" (short for Gennady). The slogan of the show might give you an idea - "it doesn't matter where you are from, only kindness matters". A lot of Soviet film makers and story tellers mocked the Soviet system, maybe this show was about being happy in dreary, unkind Soviet life. It offered optimism. Ironically, kindness is not something Putins russian population offer, only hate.
