  1. Great interview and great guest. I have a story to tell for Mr Goncharenko about how insidious the ruzzian orthodox church is here. I hope he reads this comment. My wife and I are IDP's from Pokrovsk and moved to Lutsk (it got bombed extensively today). Anyway when I moved to Ukraine a decade ago, I was eventually baptised into the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in 2018. When my wife and I arrived in Lutsk, we went on a self walking tour of the religious places in the old part of Lutsk with cobblestones. We visited a synagogue and a Lutheran Church. When we came to a ruzzian orthodox church we were shocked to find a note in the foyer of the church that read (it was written in Ukrainian even!) - "“якщо вас не хрестили в канонічній церкві, не подавайте записки, ми не приймаємо такі" - if you were not baptised in a canonic church (i.e a Moscow church) don't ask for payers for you" - for a small donation, or if you are broke, no donation, the priests usually read out prayers for your relatives who are sick or need help etc. This means that I was a "non-canonical" person, due to being baptised in a Kyiv based church and could not leave a note with names of relatives for prayers!
