  1. As far as epochal or infamy goes Yevgeny Prigozhin and Wagner have even eclipsed Simon Mann and Executive Outcomes, I guess not many people would even know what the "Wonga coup" attempt even was anymore!

  2.  @mariadekelver2240  Put this into google if you want to read more about it, "2004 Equatorial Guinea coup d'état attempt" it was also known as the Wonga Coup.....the planeload of mercenaries all got busted in Zimbabwe and Mugabe threw them in jail. But in the end only Simon Mann was left to rot in a Zimbabwean prison. The Iron Lady, Dame Margaret Thatchers son Mark was also involved in it, but more as a financier, he wasn't a mercenary like Captain Simon Mann.
