On that French event you attended Jonathon, that brings to mind a very prominent person who doesn't hold those reservations about not taking back Crimea privately, he peddles this nonsense publicly so I will name names, there's a channel on YT called "Red Matrix", it's a decent chan, and former Air Vice-Marshal Sean Bell is a co-host and he peddles the BS that Crimea has always been russian, they need Sevastopol, it's their only warm water port - well that's complete and utter nonsense - Novorossiysk is the largest port on the Black Sea and it's a warm water port. In fact the original home of the Black Sea fleet was at Novorossiysk since 1829. It grinds my gears every time I hear Sean intimate, Ukraine really should not and will not ever get Crimea back. 😐 I suppose one thing is at least he has the guts to say it publicly unlike those French cowards, haha.
