  1. Varoufakis is just another useful idiot, NATO did NOT provoke Putin. If it wasn't for NATO protection, the Baltics would be occupied by now. I'd like Yanis to go to the wikipedia page "List of Wars Involving Russia" and tell me which of the hundreds and hundreds of wars listed pre-1949 was "provoked" by "NATO expansion" ? There is a pattern of russian aggression that goes back hundreds of years and literally HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF WARS (keeping in mind the Kremlin started World War II as an Axis allie by invading Poland in 1939) but Varoufakis does not get it. You got a well earned thumbs down for this. I have lost 2 homes in Ukraine because of russia in 2014 and recently in Pokrovsk, displaced twice and NATO protection would have prevented this. Easy for Varoufakis to talk the BS he does when he's lost no homes in his life and never been displaced.
