Regarding the question about the JAS-49 Grippens, the answer is YES, they would be an excellent choice, thry require far less ground crew (with as little as 3 ground crew) than the F-16's require and can be operated from small hangers by roadways in a distributed fashion preventing the destruction of squadrons that are clustered together at a single air base, this is how the Swede's operate to mitigate losing all their air force in a massive strike on an air base. They'd be perfect for Ukraine.
