Jake, I just want to push back a bit on you disagreeing with Anders, by reasoning that there'd be pictures, we are under Marshall Law here, and it mostly doesn't effect daily civilian life, but everyone in Ukraine is obliged to adhere to OPSEC, so for instance, if you live in Kyiv near the secret location of an air defence battery, don't photograph it, don't talk about it etc. I don't know of any pictures of these batteries online, and I think the same could be extended to the F-16's. All I will say to add some weight to Anders claim is that in North Western Ukraine where I have been IDP for almost 2 years, I have heard a lot of extra jet activity in the skies here, way more than usual. It could be the F-16's already online or it might just be MiG-29's doing extra CAP's or whatever in anticipation of infrastructure bombing.
