  1. Not that rare, I wrote a couple of articles for a travel blog 10 years ago when I first moved to Ukraine, and was living in Makiivka (now the so called DNR). Donetska Oblast was my home for 8 years untill my wife and were forced to leave due to the full scale invasion, and we're IDP in West Ukraine. Also using the term "Donbas" (from DONetsk coal BASin) is very problematic and is a Russian Imperial & Soviet industrial propaganda construction designed to wipe out Ukrainian trems (like Pryazovia etc) by creating a new "Donbas" false identity that was Russian, Belarusian and industrial (not Ukrainian). I urge the Professor to never use the term Donbas ever again as advocated by Ukrainian philosopher Volodymyr Yermolenko on the latest "Explaining Ukraine" episode with Kateryna Zarembo.

  2.  @andrewwarren4206  Cheers, I have already made the change, I was guilty of using the term too, it's just better to say "Eastern Ukraine" or even resurrect the old geographic names "Pryazovia" for he southern part & "Slobozhanshchyna" for the northern part or just use the Oblast names (Luhansk & Donetsk).
