they're here to look for their selfish "retirement" plan, a "caregiver" when they're sick and to satisfy their parents by offering nothing in return but a bunch of body counts, a bunch of traumas and baggages, a stuck up weird personality that can no longer follow their man's lead, a closed shop womb, faded beauty, old unhealthy body, endless torture of nagging and comparison from the men they've previously met and an ancestor status for you to serve them for the rest of your life. they've become leftover or unwanted doesn't matter if they're voluntarily or unvoluntarily for a good reason, any simps who think these women are a good deal then go ahead to save them but be prepared to suffer the consequences.

i doubt that preliminary for that man from her mother which is also woman's POV is as useful as you think so i can't be so sure if he is a bad person or not. if her mother was so good at filtering or choosing men then i don't know why is her father is not around to do the filter for his daughter instead since man understand men way better.

@fialee8 i could be not understand chinese women mothers specifically but i'm quite understand women in general. losing face doesn't stop them from acting wild or act on their irrational emotional impulse. i do not deny women are good at detecting men's wealth but this is the only thing they're good at. the man she recommend can easily pretend filial piety for a short moment and her mother which is also a woman so her judgements are mainly based on "feelings" that are not reliable and rational. of course her mother would not make such a referral to harm her own child on purpose but don't forget her mother also couldn't pick or retain her own man well so what make her opinions matter regarding in picking a good man.
