i'll explain for those who don't truly understand modern women in this situation, if you live a better life and happier than your ex then you are proving to her that her past decision in leaving you was a wrong. no one like to be in the wrong, especially modern women hate to admit that they're wrong but they also can't ignore reality or actual result so if you did better than her in term of happiness, financially, faster than her to find a partner and replace her with someone better than her then she will get extremely furious about it. on the other hand if you are worse than her then she will get her valid reason to justify her past action in leaving you was the correct thing to do and she will get her ego boosted by proven that you're a mess that can't live properly without her. after removing her guilty feelings and getting her ego up then she will start to victimize herself by blaming you for wasting her time and dragging her lifestyle down so to sum it up, never expect low quality ungrateful modern women to have anything good coming from them.
