You think you are one to determine who is a journalist? 'Assange is a publisher and more of a journalist than any partisan hack on FOX? So you think that journalists must reveal their sources and NEVER bget or use information that puts criminals in government in a bad light?

Or what Chelsea Manning tried to do with no luck before she went to Wikileaks. On top of that,you are coming with accusations which has nothing to do with what Wikileaks does. Assange didn't hack into any government file. But if you think that your hatred for the 1st Amendment and Journalism is an excuse to hide war crimes, you are a fool. A journalists's job is to milk their sources for as much information as possible. But I can see that it's more important for you to hide crimes committed by a government YOU voted for than the 1st amendment. If you are more concerned about fake charges on hacking than exposing the truth about your government, you deserve that government who spies on you and tortures whistle blowers., So if you have less issues with people who torture and murders in your name based on lies than the people who expose them, you are embodying the term "American Idiot"..

@eekns I am in awe... You are more concerned about how information is gathered on crimes than the crimes themselves and wants to shoot the messenger and torture the whistle blower. By definition, every single channel who covered the Wikileaks papers should be equally be prosecuted since they spread "stolen material".... By your standards, the Pentagon Papers should never have been revealed, and Mike Gravel should never have read it in the Senate, since that was stolen material. Yet I am the clueless one. Why don't you give me and Greg Palast and every other journalist who supports Assange a lecture in Journalism since you seem to not only are the arbiter of Journalism and how crimes should be exposed?
