Facing her karma from a thousand year long blood drenched history... Don't know if I'm going to laugh or cry... Or go there go witness the downfall as the oligarchs and tories wages war on their own people..driven by greed, power, and contempt for the proles. Sure! I love ole merry England in her peculiar ways as a next door neighbor from Norway. But I can't stand her arrogance and sense of entitlement and false sense of cultural superiority and fairness. Must come from spending years in Ireland.

Met one decent ex. soldier who served in Northern Ireland my 2nd night in England , starting a new job in Bournemouth back in 2010. Was short of cash, and needed roof over my head my first 4 nights until I could make arrangement with my employer. Didn't ask his politics. He did give me a good deal however. Spent some years living in Belfast as wel. Wrote a piece about my 2 first nights in England after spending a cold April's night on a bench in Bournemouth...My "first taste of England".. Lovely trip. Lovely place. Made me long for Ireland after 6 months.
