@Houshalter What do you think? Shall we be consitent? How about prohibiting alcohol again? That is after tobacco the gateway drug number one. Since it has been scientifically proven that MJ is less harmfull than both these as well as better medicine than a lot of pharmaceuticals, and if we should continue to prhibit it, we should prhohibit alcohol as well. We tried that, and it didn't work out that well. It seems that the psychosis of Nixon is still infesting the world even today...

@Houshalter Yes lives! Prohibition destroys lives. Look up "DrugWarClock" on google and see for yourself how many lives prohibition is destroying. They are staggering numbers. Unfortunately they are true. You may call me a liberal stoner and whatever you want, but I back up my statements with some good numbers. I can also recommend for you to take a trip to Amsterdam....

@Houshalter Another faulty. the analogy I think you are trying to percieve is another fear tactic that you have been spoonfed with since Nixon. MJ gives no physical harm whatsover. There is a risk however that the younger you are when you start, it may effect your cognitive abilities. I'm not so sure about that. George Carlin smoked weed since he was 13, and he was one of the smartest Americans since invetion of the assembly line.

@Houshalter Smoking of weed in the correct circumstances is a powerful spiritual experience... It is not in the best interest of "society" to prohibit personal behavioir. And if you are taliing about smoking plants as being "sin", I would like to know where in the bible where it says that smoking of a plant is a sin... Prohibition is a direct violation of the Bill of Rights, and the culture of your founding fathers. George Washington smoked weed, and grew hemp to finance the revolution...

@Houshalter there will come home to your USA a 1/2 million vets. A giant portion of them will come back with PTSD. Many of them will find MJ as medicine. And they will be arrested for possession. They will get arrested for the one medicine that keeps them from pulling the trigger in their mouths. MJ is far healthier than Oxyntonton or antidepressants. It is a better drug for you in every way than what other drugs can do...

Growers today, both in California as well as Holland are using different seeds to grow different brands that will give different affects. This is how you can measure and limit the THC values. Cannabis can be a great anti psychotic medicine. It can also trigger what I call "bad feelings" or anxiety attacks, and what psychiatry would call a minor psychosis. But as long as you are under safe enviroments, and have knowledge of this, you will know that it's the THC medicine working in your system

@Houshalter You are wrong. MJ cannot be analogised with "nuking your body". It's about to be proven that MJ and its components have a perfect match to the human brain. More and more patients, including me have found out that MJ is not a "drug" or a "narcotics" as you and your BoR relativists wants it to. First of all, you cannot refute my statement that your Founding Fathers not only grew MJ, but also used it in their pipes themselves! Your BoR is written on MJ paper...

I can vouche for these studies. As a vet, I swirmed into the bottle as a part of my writing process as well as to cope with my depressions. It made it worse! After staqrting to take MJ, I most of the time don't want alcoho9l anymore. And I can sleep properly at night, I don't have hangovers or anxiety attacks, and I can function normally in every day life... I am a writer, and an IT tech support man whom once had a gun in my hand and a uniform and got sent out in a war to kill people..

@fuckyou5211 I think you have misunderstood the pint here. MJ has plenty of medical values, while alcohol has none. Only someone who knows nothing about MJ would claim that MJ is an escape from reality...

@Houshalter With legalization, this innocent person will not be exposed to the dangers that they meet today. If I found out that my kids went down to get their own drugs, I would beat them to a pulp myself, and shared with them my own bong instead afterwards. Group pressure often also comes from the dissidents whom have seen the lies they have been stuffed their heads with. And Marijuana is no matter what people think a far less dangerous drugs than alcohol and cigarettes.

@Houshalter Prohibition is a direct violations since it directly interveines in the individuals "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness". I am a veteran! And I have studied and travelled more both before my tour of duty as well as after than you will do in your lifetime. And my use of MJ, is not merely a matter of freedom, it's also a matter of keeping my PTSD in check! Again, GW smoked weed himself for medication... Why do you stand against freedom and humanity?

@Marleyites Shit! I have had PSTD since I came back from the Marines serving in Bosnia in 1993! It's only the past 5 years I have found weed to be a better medicine than anto depressant, ant psychotic, booze, cigarettes and religion...

@Houshalter If you want alcohol should be illegal, then you might as well move to Saudi Arabia. Because you are then by default sharing the same values as the Wahhabists whom took down WTC (with a little help from PNAC)....

@Houshalter You know what is truly a violation of your Constitution? To put religion in government where you should have put weed!

@Houshalter Let me put it like this: I am a hard liner when it comes to a few certain things. One of them is prohibition and my knowledge about the value of Marihuana. MJ has been proven to have medical benefits. And if euphoria is one of its side effects, well, hell! I prefer to get stoned from MJ than munching antidperessants, pouring it down with booze that gives me bad side effects whatsoever. cont...

@Houshalter Prohibition is nothing more than waste of money, lives, and a disrgace to humanity...
