eqsmooth Do I know you? If not, get the fuck out of my face....You are not a person or human being unless you are in my phone book...

Joseph565112 Land = money and property. Sad state of mentality. Wrong state of mentality. The land was once free and plentiful. Now there are people with the strange notion that the land that was here before them, somehow is their personal property.. And there are humans who fight against other humans about who's got the right to exist on this piece of land like flees fighting over who owns the dog they both live off. If you "owned" this land 200 years ago (after the indigenous people have been cleansed), you would not have access to machinery, but manual labor. We know the history of this don't we? Or have Texas Board of Education taken out slavery all ready?

Joseph565112 The land you live on is based on theft, rape, murder, genocide and slavery. Hell! You have even managed to destroy the democracy given to you by the Iroquois!

Joseph565112 Pointing out the obvious that your precious USA is based on genocide, theft and broken treaties is somehow morbid? Sorry. But a republic merely means "rule by the people for the people", by laws. Very little of the failed democracy experiment from Greece applied much when Franklin took what he learned from the Iroquois confederation. What you also seem to not to understand, is that the Native Americans didn't see land as property to be bought, sold and fenced in with a "KEEP OUT" sign like your ancestors did... So this "purchase" was nothing more than a scam from your ancestors side. Suddenly your ancestors claimed monopoly of the land, and wanted the Native Americans to go away. If it was so peaceful as you try to portray it as, then you must explain to me the mass genocide during the 1800s...Because thinking that USA was built on happy faces and harmony IS morbid...

Joseph565112 I admit I don't know everything about Native American history. I was always focused on the "Wild West" (which seems a bit tame compared to now), and great wars between 1860-90. Read my books on the prairie nations and their struggles. I do know however, is that the original Tea party dressed up as Native Americans almost as an honorary sign of courage, freedom and rebellion (not like the modern day teabaggers mostly of white middle class dressing up as colonial masters). I also know that Franklin lived for several years among the Iroquois and learned something about creating a modern form of government. A form of government that until then have existed for more than 600 years. About the Cherokee joining Jefferson Davies, well... sometimes one cannot choose ones allies... The anger of Geronimo however...perfectly understandable...

Timothy Flood I'm perfectly aware of that...The WASPs were at it against every newcomer group coming in on the ships. New York has been a battle field between different nationalities and ethnic groups throughout the 19th and 20th century...
1
Timothy Flood To elaborate on the privilege of the WASPs, note that KKK grew immensely in the 20's when they went populists. Millions of members, hundreds of thousands marching on D.C against immigrants. They had become flag waving Americanists. Their ideology had become Americanism, and changed their flag from the Confederate to the Union flag. Sound familiar? Well..Put it brutally, the teabaggers of today are carrying the legacy of the KKK of the 20's. And they simply love scapegoats...

And the first thing I see from you is a pathetic challenge of some sorts? What have I done to you mate? Have I offended you in any way? Do you feel threatened by my presence here? Or are you just another anonymous internet troll hiding behind a fake account to troll people? So, c'mon pretty boi... What's your problem?

Chuck Norris I think Taliban. ISIL, Boko Haram and Texas Board of Education try to outdo each other in religious fundamentalism...

o_O You know what the Koran says about seeking knowledge? You know what the term "ilm" is? Look it up This little word might have gone lost in all the jihad talk. It might also pay to look up what Jihad means too. I think all fundamentalists have some fundamental lack of knowledge about their own dogmas...

herny45 It means different things for different people. For some, it means submission. For others, it means peace. To me, it means bullshit...Just like the other Abrahamic religions...

o_O One of my old teachers was Ahmadiyya Muslim. He had a complete different interpretation of the Koran as many other Muslim sects. "Love all, Hate none" is their creed...

o_O I wouldn't know. It has never been an issue whenever I have been in discussion with them. I would imagine that opinions vary there as well. I do know however, that there has been massacres against an Ahmadiyya mosque in Pakistan not long ago committed by Sunnis....
